Sure Suriname

Sure Suriname is a Surinamese/Dutch government project aimed at the sustainable modernisation of the arts and crafts sector in Suriname. Workshops were held in Paramaribo and quality products with a Surinamese feel were developed in collaboration with Dutch designers. The objects are being produced by Surinamese craftsmen for sale in the Netherlands. They have been showcased at venues like the Arti 2010 art and design fair in The Hague.
